Company History:
From the humble beginning of one tractor and two dump trucks, C.W. Matthews and two local businessmen formed a company in 1946 after he returned from the World War II Pacific Theater. In 1957 CWM entered into Asphalt Manufacturing. Over the 70 years CWM has been in business, they have built Roads, Runways and Bridges throughout the South East, as well as Manufactured many millions of tons of Asphalt.

All of our employees receive safety training in and out of the classroom, and are a critical piece of our safety culture.
