Our paving and milling crews have nearly 50 years of experience and have received multiple Quality in Construction Awards from the National Asphalt Pavement Association. Along with local dedicated and hardworking crews, we maintain a fleet of DOT-certified paving equipment and machinery to successfully meet each project’s individual specifications.

Company History:

Gerken Paving, Inc., a family owned business, was founded by Julian Gerken in 1978 after being in the family excavating business for 30 years. 39 years and generations later, Gerken Paving has continued to expand. Starting with a handful of employees, it has grown into a workforce of 350. Julian still provides daily insight, but has handed over the day to day management to the next generation. The “Gerken” brand continues to stand for quality and integrity in the construction industry.
