Company History:
Established in 1906 as Illinois Hydraulic Stone and Construction Company, we initially manufactured concrete blocks compressed by hydraulic pressure. In 1913 we diversified our work into road paving, commercial, industrial & institutional building. In 1947 the company began utility work. In 1980 our business further expanded its services & changed its name to IHC Group, Inc. In 2001, to better identify our core business, “Construction” returned to our name as IHC Construction Companies, LLC.
