This project involved the complete renovation of one of the two main runways at Newark Liberty Airport. It involved full depth renovation of asphalt and concrete as well as replacement of all FAA lighting and it was completed ahead of schedule

By completing the project ahead of schedule the airlines were able to keep there schedules and save thousands of travelers precious time on there travels
What interesting obstacles or unusual circumstances did you overcome to complete the project?
We had to coordinate with several Governmental agencies to complete the project safely
What dangers and risks did you encounter, and describe any extraordinary methods used to keep workers safe?
We had our own safety department on site 24/7 as well as safety personnel from The Port Authority. Being on Airport property emergency services were available at all times if necessary
How did you leverage new technologies to work faster and reduce waste?
GPS was used on all equiptment to maintain grades and locate all lighting that was buried after install so the runway could still be used during the day
